10:54 pm - One year ago today...
Had a great day in SF today with girlfriends and just got back from a fun evening out...much to report on, but I am heading to bed. I just wanted to pop in here real quick to commemorate the day.
One year ago today I got my BFP for Sam. I was in Utah for my stepmoms birthday and took her car to the drugstore for the HPT. I was so nervous that it was going to be positive that I sped through a school zone and got pulled over for a speeding ticket!
Anyway, I just can't believe how much life has changed in such a short period of time. I now have this amazing new addition in my life who has already brought so much joy in his short 3.5 months-I almost can't remember life without him and yet just one year ago he was bare the size of a pinhead. So incredible.
Sam was a surprise, but such a blessing. Happy one year of existence little man.

07:42 am - Thanks
Morning ladies-
We're having problems with our cable modem here at home, so our Internet isn't working and it's a pain to type a long update on my I-phone, but I just wanted to thank everyone for your support about the colic stuff.
Fortunately Sam isn't as bad as the stereotypical colicy baby. He is NOT crying for 3 hour straight by any means, nor is he inconsolable. He's just proving to be high needs, wanting to be held or in motion all the time, and he's sensitive to lots of things too. That plus the digestive issues and general unhappiness/discomfort and we're looking at a mild case of colic. Our ped said it is her feeling that he will grow out of it sooner rather than later-so fingers crossed that she is right.
Honestly the word was more scary than the actual situation. Besides the inconvenience of having to carry Sam all the time (which I try to enjoy since I know it won't last forever) things are actually going well and he is doing great. I do hope the gas and fussiness subside soon though-I'm ready for a happy cooing, smiling baby!
Anyway, my dad got into town lastnight, so between them being here and our cable problems, I probably won't be around much through the weekend-but I will try to update more soon.
Thanks again for the support!
